E Arthur brown?

I'm looking for a 17 fireball savage barrel. Shilen is 6 months out. Not sure on mcgowen. E Arthur brown has them in stock. Anyone have anything to say about them, good, anything?

I strongly suspect that what they are doing is just putting the individual orders on a back burner right now and dedicating all of their production to the bulk orders, which mean more $$$. There simply is not enough profit to be made from an individual barrel sale like yours. So instead of doing the right thing for the customer they are concentrating strictly on what puts more $$$ in their pocket. I would have canceled that order a long time ago. I just ordered a barrel in .338 Federal from ER Shaw. They had them in stock in 26" and I wanted 22" with straight flutes. They called me 3 days later and told me that they had the barrrel cut, crowned, fluted, and blued and was shipping that day! That is service!
