    boyds acticool stock. is it laminate or hard wood?

    the page first says laminate stock with texture finish. then in the discription is says hardwood with texured finish???

    anyone now witch one it is?

    It's laminated hardwood.

    Boyd's uses Stratabond laminate- same stuff I use for my stocks. It's laminated, hardwood...made by Rutland

    They don't use Stratabond for the painted stocks. It just laminated hardwood such as birch or maple laid up in 3/4" boards.
