Scope 24X and mildot or milhash

Anybody have a list of mil scopes in the 18x-24X-32x range at the top zoom power, that range at the highest power or are FFP reticle scopes ??

Looking for something in the $500 range hopefully with good eye relief, clear optics, no tunnel vision etc.

FFP is not such a big deal as long as it mils at the highest power or at 20X.

Two if the Hawke sidewinders mil at 20X but not sure on optical quality.

Vortex PST FFP scopes look nice but a bit pricey. Probably worth the extra $ though.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.

So far ones I know about under $1000 are there are....

two models of the Hawke sidewinder specifically the HK4010 and HK4014 - About $500

    Vortex PST 6-24 FFP - About $950

    Sightron SII 6-24 (mils at 24x) - about $500

The Sightron SIII 8-32 and 10-50 both mil a 24x

I have not seen the Sightron 10x50 under a grand anywhere, not that I am in the market, and I am not spending $500.00 on an unproven brand, maybe they are good, but when I see the name Hawke, the first thing that comes to mind, is when a Chinese made tool company try's to sound really rugged and American, they call themselves Pittsburgh tools or something to that effect, LAME.

You may want to try snipercountry.com or other tactical style site.

I think the sightron 10-50 goes for about $1050.

    Yep on the Hawke.
Thats a lot of money for an unknown Chinese scope and the Sightron SII 6-24x is about the same price.
AFAIK Hawke is a European company and been in Business about 30 years. Limited Lifetime warranty.
They are made in China though.

I think I will pass on the sidewinder but I do want to try their 3-9x Panarama 1/2 mildot scope mostly for the view at 3X has a wide FOV and about like any other 2X scope with a bit more on the long end. They run about $200.

I think Konus scopes are worth looking into, They have mil dot recitals I don't know what power they are set at though, I do know my buddy had one on his rifle when he dropped it from the tree stand, and the scope still held together and work fine after that, to tell you the truth I had forgotten about that brand.

Take a look at the Leupold Mark AR scopes. They were sold as the Mark 2 line for a while. I have one that's been shuffled from gun to gun for a while now. Mine is the 6-18x40 with an adjustable objective, capped target turrets, and mildot reticle. It's accurate at 18x. The glass is just as good as all of my VX-3 scopes and looks just as good as my Mk 4 to my eyes.

Quality is standard Leupold and I've never had a problem with mine. It spent a couple years on my 300 WSM, a while on the 25-06, some time on a 338-375 Ruger, and now it sits on a 300 RUM Striker. They have these at the local Cabelas for about $500. It's a great scope.
