    Axis 308 Loads


    Here's a couple of loads I worked up yesterday for my 308. I also did some TTSX and SST loads (you can see all of them over on the Reloading forum) but I think I was pulling my shots with them, so I'm going to retest them.

    Was this moved from the Axis list? That's where it's intended to be.

    Yes it was.

    Are these groups with a factory Savage barrel? If so that's very good!

    Yes thank you-- factory action/barrel. I posted this thread over there because not every Axis user comes over here--and "Florida Frank" also posts his groupings there. Although Mr Furious strongly disagrees--I believe the stock mods we've concocted can make a difference--which I did--which is another reason I thought this was of particular interest to the Axis list. Otherwise, I'd simply delete it as being redundant since all this info is up above.

    I posted on the thread above my apologies for mislabeling--that was actually 39.617--problem fixed.

    BTW--how can someone who creates a thread delete it? Most forums have that ability but I can't figure out how to do that here.
