short action DBM stocks and confusion

hello everyone im new to this barrel nut thing but i really like the idea of building a great shooter for around a grand and doing it my self instead of a smith.

i think iv settled on the varmint action from northland, has a nice trigger and DBM. but when it comes to stocks i seem to be wondering in the dark. im looking for a stock that will except this short action DBM with a varmint contour barrel? i wanna stay away from the wood and laminate stocks. itll mostly be for shooting steel and the occasional coues deer.

HS Precision or Choates has them for a DBM. Boyds is supposed to be doing them very soon as well. Then theres also the custom stocks from SSS, Stockade, Russo, etc that can be inletted for a DBM.

Northlander may even have the HS Precision stock for ya.
