first savage build. to detach or not to detach.

hey everybody. i am new to savage building and am starting my first build. i have already built a saiga from stock to tacti-cool and built an ar15. i just purchased a stevens 200 in .308. i cant decide which type of mag option i will choose. is it possible to buy a stock for detachable magazine model and use a internal box mag. incase i want to convert it later?

Possible yes. But, alot of duct tape is about the only way I can think of doing it. You would have to have some way of holding the mag in place and blocking the bottom off if the gun is a centerfeed. A staggerfeed would be attached to the action already so maybe you would just have to close up the bottom of the mag.
