    removing muzzle brake

My first suppressor is on its way and i had trosusa build me an adapter for mt savage 111 LRH in a 6.5x284. My question is what do I need to know when removing my adjustable brake that came with the gun. Us there anything i hvlave to be careful of? Anything I have to do first before i remove it?

    Re: removing muzzle brake

I always warm mine up with the heat gun over 250 degrees so if there is locktite it will soften it and expand the brake just a little to make it easier to come off and reduce risk of thread damage. I'm getting a suppressor for my 308 next year.
