Midway usually carries them. Around $100.00 if there not out of stock

Note that the barrel will need to be headspaced to the new bolt once you get one.

Or, at least check with the proper gauges. Maybe he'll get lucky.

We're all friends in here. Tell us how you lost your bolt. We won't tell.

Actually my friend didn't lose it the USPS did! He sent it out to get fluted and about a week went by and he still never heard anything about it although he had received confirmation of it being shipped. Long story short, he called the place he sent it to and they told him that they received his package, they got the paperwork explaining what he wanted done and the the payment for this but somewhere along the voyage the bolt had ripped out of the package!

Isn't that interesting? When I sent my LRP back to savage it arrived there without a bolt. Somebody must be collecting them somewhere. Lucky for me Savage replaced it no charge.

What is his barrel chambered in?

Would he need a 223, 30-06, or Magnum sized bolt face? Long action or short action? Left hand or right?

Same happened to me. SSS shipped me two parts, the package made it, NO contents! True story.

UPS did take care of it, FYI
