Help with scope base and mounts on 110 police

I am looking for a picatinny rail for a .308, 110 action, pre accutrigger model. I am going to go with quick release rings. Reason for this is to be able to easily switch to a night vision scope.

+1 for EGW -- love their bases. Not sure about quick detach rings, as I have never used them.

Whats a medium action ??? do i need to post a pic to identify the reciever type? Seems like the more I read the more confused I become. I thought three digits indicated a long action?
