    Youth stock

Where can I find a youth stock for a short action Stevens with 4.4 screw spacing center feed? I can't find one on the web anywhere.

My suggestion would be to take a wood stock, cut it down a bit (1-2 inches, depending on the measurement of your shooter) and then put a grind to fit recoil pad on the end.
That presumes you have the skills and tools to do those things. If not, there are not a lot of choices out there that I know of. Perhaps your local Gunsmith can do it for you?

The gun came with a synthetic stock. Guess I will have to buy a wood one and cut it down. Wasn't wanting to do that but guess I have no other option.

After 30 min. of searching through Numrich's new not so friendly web site I think this is what you want.

    Thanks for the help froggy.
Found this also. Would it work? Says short action. Don't give screw spacing or cf or sf?

Changing the screw holes and fitting the mag only takes a little time and patience, some epoxy,a piece of lamp rod(for pillars) and a small wood shim for the mag well. It will still be a lot cheaper than a custom.
If you call they will answer your questions on sf/cf and that will tell you your screw spacing. Model 12 is SA.

Just for reference, the above youth stock that I posted a link to is a 4.25 screw spacing. Nice stock for the money. Still can't find one to fit a new action. I will either trade this one, or epoxy it and make it work.
