Thanks, guys. I will say, it shoots better than I do. When I do my part right, it's scary accurate!

Neal you make me more jealous every time you post one of these.
I have been looking for a stryker for over a year but everyone thinks they are made out of precious metal or something.
I hear tell someone knows of a couple in a shop up in Alaska NIB but he aint talking.

They are still there in that small gun shop in Alaska too! $450. each and he doesn't take credit cards'
As Greg inferred, Target Actions are readily available.
Until I ran across this super new material to make stocks out of the Target action handgun was just to heavy for me. As pictured this gun weighs in at 7.4 pounds.

    Thank you!

Re: Post a Picture of your Rig(s)

Neal I probably should have emailed this to you but, have you looked on gun broker lately they have a plain run of the mill Stryker for sale, buy now $850,and I guess it is because it is from the Jim Carmichel collection(the outdoor writer). Connecticut Shotgun is the selling dealer.
I don't know if you do collectibles but thought I'd let you know, or anyone else reading that is interested.

Re: Post a Picture of your Rig(s)

Once I bedded the recoil lug and receiver, it turned into a real tack driver. Receiver channel was cut a bit to big, and off center. Once I got it bedded, I just threw a load together using almost a max load of IMR4831 and a 70 gr Nosler Balistic tip. I got a 5 shot group I could cover with a dime. I havn't done too much load development since then. Though, one day I tried shooting at individual flies that had landed on the target board. I didn't hit any, but I scare a few.

Re: Post a Picture of your Rig(s)

Only have a couple Savage rifles in our safe.

My 204 Ruger with very dead p-dog......thinkin about up grading the stock to a Stockage P-dog Special or a B&C Medalist.

32gr Nosler Ballistic tips loaded with H322 powder, working with 40gr V-max and Reloader 15 right now.

The future wife with her 223,

Still working on loads for this but it seems to like 68gr and 75gr A-Max with Reloader 15.

Both the 223 and 204 are wearing Mueller scopes.
I also have a 93 in 17hmr that I use once in a while for shooting gophers and p-dogs.

Took a while to get all of the components together.
    Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20 x 50 ER/T M1 Scope
    BORS (Barrett Optical Ranging System)
    Stryker Drag Bag System

Super accurate when shot from a Lead Sled, (limited to 700 yds at local range). Now it is just a lot of practice so that I can be as accurate without the lead sled and just a bipod.

    RJT

.308, 26" barrel, essentially a stock 12 BVSS. The only two mods I made were adding grip tape to the front of the 'pistol' grip (I have sweaty hands, no matter what the circumstances, it seems) and a SSS stainless tactical bolt handle.
