Sharp Shooter Supply did the bolt fluting and coloring for me. The bolt handles are from Southern Ordnance off eBay.

Thank you. I did. Just a chunk of foam sponge dabbed in flat black. I'm really happy with it. I had the rifle cerakoted at the same time so it really went from a dull turd to a good looking rifle. And it don't shoot too bad. So far I've seen 3/4 MOA with my first load I cooked up.

Savage Mark I FVT with Accutrigger set to 8oz. I really need to vise shoot this thing, but so far keeping up with Anschutz at less than half the price. I thew the Savage stock in the trash, it's complete garbage. But the rifle itself is great if properly mated with a good stock. This is my handiwork.

Very nice! I was very close to pulling the trigger (so to speak). On the hog hunter but opted for the axis SR model instead. Figured I was just keeping the barrel and action so I went with the best price.My first build
