This is my Savage 11VT chambered in 308. It's got a 24" heavy barrel with a 1:10 twist. Fitted on top is a set of Leupold mounts and rings with a Bushnell 6-24x40 optic. It sits inside a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock which I modified in order to take the rifle because the stock is meant for blind mags only and I originally had a detachable box mag. I also have a Caldwell bipod attached to the stock. Not much, but I'm a pretty simple person. Form and function for me. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it with the new stock on it yet, but I shoot hand loaded 168 Sierra Matchkings, 165 Sierra Game Kings, 150 Sierra Spitzers, 178 Hornady AMAX and 178 Hornady Match. I use Federal 210m primers, Federal, Lake City and Winchester brass with IMR4064. Hope you all like it. [IMG][/IMG]

Just about to order that brake how do you like it?
Well, really haven't gotten to try it. It's first trip to the range I experienced my first bullet impact with the brake. Ruined it. Come to find out, my factory threads on the barrel were off axis. So I'll let ya know when I get it back. I've heard fantastic things about the brake tho.
Ouch that sounds painful how do I make sure that the threads are not screwed up before I crack one off down range?
I used to simply check with the proper cleaning rod, but didn't work this time I recommend using an actual caliber specific rod. Also, make sure it properly timed and torqued. I use lock tite on my thread as well
Got mine on

Star Wars!
Here are some pictures of my 12 Long Range Precision converted to .308 Win (which made it semi custom, along with a couple of other mods...)
20" Shilen S7 1:10 barrel, IOR Valdada 4-16x50il scope in Burris XTR medium rings on Warne 20 MOA steel rail. I beefed up the bedding section of the stock and installed a height adjustment for the recoil pad. Should somebody be interested in details just let me know and I will open a new thread in the "My Build" section.

dang good looking guns everyone..cant wait to get mine looking that good.
Looks like Cerakote Magpul Flat Dark Earth to me.
Thanks for your interest everybody! Regarding the colours on my rig:
Barrel, barrel nut and receiver are cerakoted FDE. Bolt, bolt handle, bipod, bottom metal and mags are cerakoted AI Dark Earth. Scope is a DIY rattle can job RAL 1000. When I first saw the results I would have liked the barrel and receiver to be a tad lighter (maybe Coyote Tan) for somewhat more contrast to the bolt, but now I started liking it as is.
The stock gave me some kind of a hard time. It has got a raised comb made of a laminated wood core covered with some layers of epoxy. As I learned later, I had not cleaned the previous epoxy layers properly before adding a next one. This caused blisters in the epoxy during the curing of the C-type cerakote on the stock. Now the stock sports a Swedish camo light green that I put on myself after dealing with the blisters. The cerakote (a mix of 20% Bright White and 80% Highland Green) is still to be seen in the grip areas.
Painted my favorite plinker last summer.
Yes, it's moo cow camo. hahahaha
Here's my newest...well, actually a rehash of a rehash of a 110 action I've had since high school. Got one of those 458WM louden boomer ER Shaw barrels from Brownell's and had Ross Schuler cut it down to 21", re-crown and thread it for one of his brakes. The stock is an old B&C Medalist Sporter from the 80's with a new rattle can finish and 1.5" Nitro Limbsaver pad. Barrelled action is Cerakoted in Stainless. It's quite a Thumper.

New here but this is my savage model 10fcp-sr. Upgraded the bolt handle from a large ball to the oversized that comes on the BA's, blackhawk 30mm rings, primary arms 4-14x44 ffp scope with sunshade, 6-9 Harris bipod swivel, vortex optics anti-cant level, karsten cheek rest and a muzzle break I picked up from my work.
