7mm RM Control feed issue

Have an older control feed action with an Issue.

The magazine is supposedly a 7mm Rem mag but may be a 300 WM, not really sure.

At any rate with rounds in the magazine, cycle the bolt to withdraw a shell the shell comes out about 1.5-2" then drops down of the extractor where
the next shell is in the neck area.

I have use this action for 375 ruger and 458 WM but never a smaller bullet magnum round.

Do I need to replace the extractor ??
Bend the feed lips ??

Any advice appreciated ??

Never mind. Swapped out the extractor and that fixed it.
