    What height rings for TR?

I have a Mueller APT 4.5-14x40AO that I'm getting ready to put on my .22 TR and was wondering what height rings? I'm looking at the Weaver 4 or 6 hole rings. I'm thinking high but want to verify before buying.

    Thanks

I have a Pentax Gameseeker II 4-12x40 on mine w/standard rings. I have a M64TR also w/standard rings and a cheapy Centerpoint 4-12x40. Both shoot better than I can hold. It was windy and a little cool outside today and only got to shoot about 100 rounds through both of them. A few to sight in on the right of the target then all in 1 chewed up hole to the left of the target. I'm really liking the M64, it's a little shorter a little lighter and is threaded for a suppressor, which I'm going to get for it in the future. The target was at about 20-25yds w/CCI Blazer, once it warms up a bit I'm going to try 50-100 and see what they'll do.

Nice looking TR! I got the one with the digital camo pattern stock. I will take some pics after I get the scope mounted. The APT is a 30mm scope and I'm trying to figure out what height rings, high or med? I'm going to use the stock bases so I'm thinking high but before I buy them I wanted opinions.
