    Re: bedding pillars

I went the cheap route and used threaded lamp rod that I picked up from the hardware store. The key word here is cheap, not easy. :-\ it wasn't dificult by any means. It just required a little work. Get the pillars from Stockys and do it the cheap and easy way.

    Re: bedding pillars

I planned on using lamp rod but found out no one in middle Georgia (Lowe's Home Depot, Ace) carried lamp parts any more. I even tried Hobby Lobby to see if they had lamp kits, no dice. I ended up ordering pillars from Brownell's.

I've bought and used these pillars off Ebay with good luck. Just state the kit you want when you place the order.
