8208XBR works great in my 9 twist 223. I will have to get to my reloading room to give you the load info, sorry! But it works great.
I was given a pound of each of the following powders and was wondering if anyone has used them in their 223 and what were your results? I was given a pound of 8208XBR and a pound of VIHT N133. My gun is the predator hunter max-1 with the 1 in 9", any info would be greatly appreciated

My Savage .223 really likes 8208 XBR. Mine has a 1 in 9 twist. I use Lake City brass, CCI 400 primers, Hornady Vmax 55 gr bullets. 24.0 - 24.5 grains works really well for me. I haven't tried any N133.
Both are GREAT powders, and will work amazing in your 223. N133 is my preferd choice of powder in a 223, put a good 52 or 53 gr bullet behind it and shoot some small groups.
Thanks for the input fella's
yep, 8208 is pretty good powder. Never used N133. I shoot 50gr NBT out of a 22" barrel ans gets around 3285 avg. Super accurate with fed brass and i think a max load of 25.8grs.
What Pat said,N133 and a 53gr matchking
