Tactical stock options? I need help please.

hello all,

i have a 110 (old model with flathead bolt screw) that i have rebarreled. i used a CBI varmint taper that is .810 at the muzzle. I am looking for a tatical stock with the grip style of the Choate tactical, or B&C medalist type with a more vertical grip. I cant seen to be able to tell the difference in what I have or what i can purchace that will work. ! would also like to keep the cost to under 300 or so .... Thanx!

Under $300 is tough. The "money saver" stockade prairie dog is an option maybe?

Bought a Choate. When I got it and tried to put together the trigger guard wouldn't fit in the inletting. I sent them three emails asking for help with NO luck. I finally got thru today....when I finally spoke to the person I was to contact, was told to call back after Jan 7th.

Needless to say I'm very disappointed. I want to do a full camo job but will have to wait till I can get a trigger guard that will fit the inletting in the stock.

I had better. I contacted them first giving all the information I had on my new Savage and they told me which stock I needed. Everything seems to fit except the trigger guard. The Savage trigger guard is wider than the inletting Choate has on the stock.

I've contacted Choate over the last several weeks with no help. I may just take my Drimmel tool and sand the inletting to increase the size so the trigger guard fits.

anyone with experience with the Stockade elk or coyote stalker, as far as comfort?
