older Savage 110 and Steves 110 price cost

Can someone help understand why the older Savage 110 and Stevens 110 30-06 cost as much as a new gun.

Well, there is no such thing as a Stevens 110. That would be a Stevens 200. I can only assume you are comparing the prices of those used rifles to a new Axis. The short answer is, the Axis is the bottom of the line from Savage and the other two rifles, even used are better rifles, hence, more money.

the 110/10/stevens are easily double and more what the cheap Axis are brand new so you cant compare them, they are not apple to apple. Now if you comparing apples to apples I have to question where are you buying your used rifles. Give us more details on what are you comparing stuff to and if your are comparing pawnshops, online or personal sales.

I was looking on line at gunbroker. I picked Stevens 110E model k for about $200 with Bushnell Scope Chief VI. When I look at Gunbroker I see they are about $300 and up. Just wondering why.

I think you did good in the price. That is an old Stevens before they had the 200 series. $300 is about right.enjoy.

Used gun prices are based on what the seller wants and what a buyer is willing to pay.

Saw a Stevens 25-06 at the gun show yesterday for 280. Mentioned I just bought two or I'd buy it. (should have anyway) Came back 5 min later and it was gone. I'd love to find a $200 with scope gun.

I picked up my Steven 110E 30-06 for just $200. The stock had just a few dings but nothing big bluing about 98%. I did put in aftermarket Trigger by Basix and set it just over 4lbs.
