    Camo-Form

Not sure if this goes in this forum or not but I decided to camo-form my rifle in Digital Desert. I am waiting on a DDD kill suit to get here monday so I thought I would get the gun ready. Let me know if I should move this thread somewhere else.

My only question is how camo-wrapping a barrel affects both accuracy as well as point of impact.

I'm not sure on the second part, I haven't notice any problem with accuracy at 100yrds, ran out of time to go out further. I made sure not to wrap the barrel tight after the stock starts. would hate to turn a floating barrel into a sinking one. :-)

The only way the wraps will make a change in harmonics is if they are so thick that it will restrain the barrel vibration. Heck, I can remove my brake and I have not noticed any change in poi and that is a big chunk of metal attached to the barrel...

Is it like an ace bandage? I guess it's cool if you have to change camo for different cover but just looks kind of silly to me, not trying to offend you just my opinion...

It is exactly like an ace wrap. It doesn't leave a residue and is very nice if you don't want paint or tape. Here in Nebraska we see all four seasons so I do change camo three times usually. This stuff just needs washed in soap and water and then rewrapped. Its main weakness is moisture, it will start to come off at the ends. But you just dry it and put it back on. I use the digital dessert, shadow grass, and snow. I'm going more for the predator not seeing me instead of hoping he likes the look of my gun before it kills him.
