    Trigger Not Setting

    Hi Guys,

I am having a few issues with the firing pin not setting when cycling the action quickly.

Works every time when cycled at a slower speed but not when done at pace.

Anyone else had this issue? It has a Rifle Basix sear adjusted to about 2 lb and is Pre E receiver MKII FVSS

    Cheers

    Slimy

    The trigger is too light.

The bolt stop sear combo may also be binding. You may be able to adjust and lube the pins and check clearances within the stock.
A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.

    Ok cheers!

I'll get the Smith to adjust it whilst he beds the new stock.

He mentioned that a GOOD bedding job and aggressively floating the barrel will work nicely as its been a bit touchy but under perfect conditions it has shot 1/4 inch at 100yds using the Blue Pack CCI
