    Stevens 67 trigger question

A friend of mine has a stevens 67 12 gauge. It has the typical problem, when it is locked forward and cocked it can still be manually pumped, it will not stay locked no matter what. I tore into it and found one broken spring, the slide lock assembly had been ground on and a bent cartridge stop, fixed everything I could, cleaned it real well and it still will not work correctly.
I am wondering if anyone has a picture of the trigger assembly as it is supposed to be as I might have installed it incorrectly, not that I would EVER do something like that. Specifically the springs that hold the slide lock assembly and around the hammer. I am starting to think the bolt might have just smoothed out and will not catch an edge.

    Thanks.

    Re: Stevens 67 trigger question

I've got a trigger assembly sitting right here for a Savage 170, they are the one and the same actions and should have all the same parts. Did you know what part you need?

I am not sure if I need any parts, yet. I am actually looking for a picture of the trigger group removed from the stock so I can make sure I have everything back the way it was supposed to go since I have never knows what it is supposed to look like.

    Thanks for the help.

Oh, then use Numrichs 170 exploded view, same thing as the 67.

I'll see if I can find my 170 trigger group and take a pic of it for you.

Great. I have mine set up correctly. But my parts are a lot more worn, I think that is causing the problem.

    Thanks.
