Yesterday morning hunt ended with one of the guys killing a 7 pointer that was walking "funny". He described the deer walking just like you would from a drunk person. After we got there we found a somehow emancipated buck that had a hole in the back leg plus the shot he took yesterday. This is the same member that shot a buck a couple weeks ago. All we found was a small piece of bone. We did track that buck for over half a mile when he shot it the first time I and it was decided to let it bleed out and look for it next morning as it was frost cold. We never found it. After a little of forensic job we found the damage to be consiatant to the damage we would expect from the buck he shot down to the missing bone so we are calling it done and one for the books.
