    Russo stocks

Does anyone have a web address or contact info for the Joel Russo stocks?
I am looking for a thumbhole in the Wildcat style and thought someone mentioned he made them, I would like to get a catalog or see some on a web page if they are out there.
    Any help is appreciated.

LOVE the exotic wood stocks he does.

    Re: Russo stocks

I spoke with Joel several times when deciding on a stock. I ended up going w/ SSS LRBR simply due to the $. I am sure that side by side, you would be able to see the difference- I guess?- But ultimatly here was my decision:

SSS- LRBR stockw/ adj comb, ready to finish 400grit sanded, pillar bedded, 1" Pach. Decel pad- $349

Russo- Tooley style- SSS is exact copy of this- $900+ unfinished. Thats $550 difference. I bought a barrel, had it chambered and am having it installed nutless, and bought 250 6mmbr. Lapua brass for the difference in price and I still got a very nice stock coming.

Joel is first class and an outstanding person. I really wanted to buy from him, just due to the fact he helped me so much.

Guys, don't rule out either making or coming up with a blank of your own for Joel to work with. I picked up a nice walnut blank and sent to him a couple months ago. I have not seen his new web site, thanks for the link. BTW, that curly maple Savage looks very familier . TB
