Not a bolt head issue. Just extreme ends of the tolerance scale between bolt body and receiver. No effect on bolt head or lock up.
You want to spend the money, PTG make one that fits tighter.
bought a new package model 11 without accutrigger. while putting the bolt into the action i noticed it had more wiggle to it than any savage i have seen before. normally they're pretty stiff. this one i can rock back and forth a bit...
is this a big deal or just an idiosyncracy?

i worded it wrong. i'm talking about the pinned on bolt lugs. i can take the bolt out and rock them side to side. never seen one with this much play.
also the ejector does not have much force. maybe related?
Ahh, the floating bolt head.
