.243 savage specs. could this be a typo?

    Hi!
I am new here and could find no mention of it on the board. I was looking at the specs for the new 10 predator hunter max 1.
the savage gun finder says that the barrel has a 1:8.25 twist rate. i am wondering if this s a typo...If not I WILL be purchasing one, because i wish to play with the 105 a max and the 107-115 grain long range bullets.

    Oh, you mean this one:

    18889 243 WIN 8.25" 22" 43" 8.5 lbs 4 $864.00

Go to the URL that I gave you above.......click on Firearms, click on Browse Models, go to Center Fire, tab down to Predator and then down to 10 Predator Hunter Max 1

Wouldn't suprise me if that was correct. It definitley would be interesting to see what it would do! ;D

I am fan of faster twist barrels. At least for me they still shoot the lighter bullets extremely well yet they handle the longer ones too.

so the 75 grain v-max would or should shoot good out of one of these. have one on order and want to shoot the 75-grainers out of it

The 75gr v-max shoot very very well out of my 6mmAI which is an 8 twist so they will also do well from the .243.
