    Pre 87' 110 .243 WIN short action 4.522...need stock!

    Hey all,

I am looking to restore my first deer rifle and in need of a new stock for it. I have measured it and sure enough it is a "J series", with a 4.522 action.

I have been searching everywhere and the only stock I found was the Classic on Boyd's gunstocks, in ugly yellow or salt n pepper. Looking for a synthetic or nice brown wood stock. Any idea as to where I could find a stock?

Also what parts fit for this rifle when it comes to bolt handle and trigger guard?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks!

I am surprised that you say Boyds Classic is only in 2 different colors. They had a bunch of different ones when I bought mine 7 yrs ago. I am sure SSS (SharpShooterSupply) can do a stock for you with whatever bolt pattern you may need. Price should be reasonable. Also, check with Kevin Rayhill.
