Anyone know the correct factory torque settings for the action plate on a savage 93R .17HMR BTVSS?

I don't know savages factory preference but many people are using around 15 inch pounds. Mine likes 18 front 15 rear. Don't let yourself get caught up on actual numbers, experiment and find what works as each inletting job/action is different. You're looking for repeat ability more than anything. I know people who don't ever remove their stocks so they use a slow curing thread locker and just step it up by feel until groups get good and let sit. Rimfirecentral.com has a lot of threads on action torque and general consensus is 15 rear and same or little more up front. Shoot straight!
