Has anyone had one yet and did it have a muzzle brake and big mag like the 338 or is it like the 308 I seen one at the NRA show in stlouis and it had everything the 338 had but I have heard that they are plan like the 308 but I'll see next week it will be in after the long wait since January 2012 it's taking a long time for the dealer to get it but it on the way cannt wait to see how it shoots if it shoot the fcpk 300wm I will love it with out the **** accu stock thanks to savage seeing that they are not the way to go on a long rifle of this caliber

its like the 308
only the lapua has the brake & mag sticking out past stock
mine shoots less than .5 @ 100 & I shot a couple 2' groups @ 500 yards last week
I modded the mag to load long vld's to touch the lands
shooting 208 Amax's & 210 Bergers .005 from lands , over 72gr H1000, in BHA brass fed 215m primers
hunting with it friday , hope i get to test it on meat

that aint how it works
you need top do a ladder test from lowest to highest charge weight
after you decide which bullet - power combo your gonna use
MINE likes 210 bergers over 72gr H1000 fed 215 m primers BHA brass .004 from lands
I had to mod my mag to get that close to the lands
start at Mag length -unless you want to single load -or mod stuff
then pick a bullet -& a powder
& do a ladder test
then you will know what YOUR rifle likes
thats the difference in a 2 moa rifle & a 1/2 moa rifle
H1000 is the powder of choice for 300WM hands down
if you load little bitty boolits in it
you might as well get a 308
190 gr or bigger
208 Amax & 210 Bergers work real well in most
as do SMK's 190 -220 gr

Ive shot 308's with more recoil
I'm going to use it for deer hunting next weekend and one have 2 days to test loads and sight in I will be shooting 190 smk or 210 vlds but need it for deer season so im going to us 180 nosler b-tip and yes it don't kick at all
