    Cerakote experience

I am getting ready to apply cerakote to my action/barrel etc. does anyone know if I need to take the red plastic safety dot out of the action tang before it goes into the oven? Does it glue back in?

Wanting to avoid a big wreck.........any advise would be appreciated.

Lightly tap on the top side of the red button with a small drift punch. It will tap back in and stay. If you look closely it was peened in from the factory with a center punch or similar tool.

Will do, I wasn't sure if it would stay in once it was popped out. Thanks
