I have one that i have used for maybe 20 yr, Its 20 power?? and 3 folding legs and very nice scope,
Don't know the value
Just had a friend show me an old Redfield spotting scope. It was a 15-45 power and looked to have about a 55mm objective. It came a stand that has two legs that fold out and act like a tripod. The scope and stand came in a hard case and everything(scope, stand and case) was red. The condition was very good to excellent.
Any one remember these? How was the quality? Any idea of the value?
Thanks in advance,
Dana

Thanks wapaloose. I held the scope up to my eye and it looked pretty clear, but didn't spend any time with it. It may be mine next payday...

I remember them pretty well, the older Redfield stuff was good, if it's a US made scope and the price isn't too high I would not hesitate to buy it if I needed it. The last one I saw on fleaBay went for around $150.00 IIRC.
It's better to shoot for the moon and hit the fencepost than to shoot for the fencepost and hit the ground!
