    Adjusting the Accu-Trigger

I recently purchased one of the model 11G in 243. The rifle shoots really good groups. I would like to lighten the trigger pull. The rifle is all as come from the factory. Since it has not been bedded. How much of a chance would I be taking in the loss of accuracy if I pull the action out of the stock to adjust the trigger?

Should not be a big problem. When you put it back in the stock, put the rifle and stock in a vertical position and bang the buttpad on your bench to make sure the recoil lug is all the way back. Then tighten the action screws front, then back, back and forth using a torque wrench about 5 inch/pounds each until you are at about 35-40 inch/pounds. Later on you can tweak that torque as it may have some effect on your accuracy.
