    Rings and Base For 10FCP

Hey, first post so go easy on me.

I just bought a 10FCP HS Precision for my first long distance rifle and I have settled on a super sniper either 10x or 12x fixed. The last piece to the puzzle is going to be rings and a base to go with it.

I am thinking of going with the EGW base, I want a 20 MOA base so I think this would be the right one:

Would I need to go with the longer version or will this one work?

And thinking of using EGW tactical rings too, not sure what height would be right, low? Medium?

Any other stuff I should consider before placing an order?

    Thanks in advance!

I prefer the EGW Practical rings. Forgoing the word "Tactical" in the name saves you a lot of $$ and there's nothing sacrificed in the performance department.

Wow, I didn't look at the price of the tactical rings. Forget those, I will probably go with Burris Xtreme Tactical Rings in that case.

I have a set of the Burris rings. They work. I still prefer the EGW Practicals. Fewer screws, less bulk, no tension nut hanging off the side of the rifle.
