    McGowen 17" barrel

    I think I read here about McGowen 17" barrels, chambered, for <$200.
    Is the 300 AAC available? Is a heavy, maybe no-taper available?
    Thanks;
    joe b.

    Go here and look at Striker barrels. I BELIEVE that it is possible to order a chambered pistol barrel from them for about $185.

    Joe B,
    Yes we do have the 300 AAC Blackout available and doing a straight barrel from the threads to the muzzle is not a problem, we've done a lot of them whether it be in the Striker or full length rifle barrels.

    Dan, can the straight no-taper be turned to .750" from the step down to the muzzle dia? I had one of yours turned down and it fits the striker to my liking, 14-16" length.
