    Savage PTA action, dual port

I have a dual port Target Action.

It ejects the shells throught the right port.

How do I switch it to eject from the left port?

Thanks in advance for your help, Dennis

Swap out the bolt head for a left port eject model.

Question: Is it possible with that bolt head simply to take it off and install it 180 degrees out so the extractor and ejector would would be on the opposite sides? I don't know if this would work or if the position of the ejector would push the spent brass down instead of out.

I already tried this. Didn't work.

Where can I pick up a new bolt head pretty quick?

Just checked Midway and they do not have it. Call Jim at NSS? Maybe PT&G?

All it is is a left handed bolt head.

Yep... and Midway did not have any in stock (when I checked earlier). I know there ought to be many places to get these. I'd guess Jim at NNS would have some and probably SSS (but they may not be the fastest way to get these at the momoent). I also am liking PT&G's new precission bolt heads (I didn't check with them) - but I don't think they do a "left" ejection model (at least I didn't see how to order that option IIRC ).
