No problem, I got on AA's website and it looks great.
Hey Kevin, do you have any pictures of your rifle from the side?
Kevin, is that Boyds $50 option checkering on that rifle?

Wow, I think I just made my decision. That thing is awesome looking. So yours has a Magnum Barrel? That should be a larger diameter than my Hog Hunter right? Also, my Hog Hunter has the "tactical" size bolt handle, wonder if that will fit in this stock? If so I shouldn't have any fitment issues. I see what looks likes two bolt holes on the side of the stock that appear to be filled. My factory stock doesn't have any bolt holes. Am I missing something?
Thanks for the info

That is a factory .375 H&H magnum contour 20" barrel - again, I posted the specific measurements in another thread a couple of days ago. I will say that I put a certain amount of work in on the finish - it comes as a fairly light matte finish, and is now several coats of gloss oil-base poly, with some onyx gel stain underneath to darken the stock a bit.
The cross-bolts are a Boyd's design for added durability.

Hey guys I'm new here and just bought the Savage Hog Hunter in .308 to play big brother next to my FV-SR.
Just wanted to confirm that it fits the short action centerfeed stocks?
I'm looking at the Bell & Carlson medalist and Tactical medalist. anyone have any input on those? I like that I can leave it the blind magazine and not worry about conversion.
Short action centerfeed would be correct. Gonna need one for a varmint contour barrel

A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.
