Rear grip striker 516 done... Barrel swap?

I finally got my striker done now I'm thinking of swaping the barrel. It is currently chambered in 243 I was thinking of going to 308 win. Thoughts? Is it hard? Barrel recommendations? Price to do? Thanks in advance!

not hard at all, tool money for a wrench, and a barrel! Any rifle barrel can be cut down for a cheaper option.

I might add its easier with an action wrench as well. Just keeps things from moving. YGMV.

Or you can go to McGowen for their Striker barrel deal. Any contour, SS or CM, $185 cut, crowned and chambered. Up to 17". I've had good luck with them.

Wow that sounds like a steal! I love the 243 but I already have a savage 110 rifle in 243 and it shoots about a 1/4 at 100. No need for two guns in the same caliber! :)
