    Stock screw torque?

    Hi all,

I was just wondering what the recommended action screw torque would be for a Model 11, syn stock?

    Thanks

    "Hand Tight"

That will vary a bit depending upon whether you are a 124lb Asian or a 240lb Irishman.

I've always used 25lbs which is "hand tight" in a bedded stock.

I have always been told to tighten the front screw a little tighter than the rear screw (closest to the trigger).

    Thanks guys,
Its appears the industry 'standard' is anywhere from 25-65. In their pillar bedded stocks Kimber recommends 45 front and 35 rear.
