    Savage striker 516 mag well

I bought a savage striker from a friend of mine. He has converted it to rear grip with a rifle basix trigger. The problem is I can't seem to get the magazine well back into place. Does anyone have any hints or tips or possibly detailed instructions on how to accomplish this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

IF the stock has a magazine cutout, the 516 was a fixed mag well. Maybe a mag well from a stagger feed Model 10-12 would work.

You might have better luck with a detached mag setup now.

The stock is set up for the mag well. The problem is getting the mag well to fit back to the action. Sorry should have been more specific!

+1 Get one end in, then put the tip of the screwdriver where the other tab and box meet, hold it at about a 45 degree angle and give it a decent love tap with the hammer and it will pop right in.
