    .221fb Striker is a ringer

Tried out the new re-chambered Sinarms barrel on the striker today. Had some old cz reloads in 55gr. This thing shoots! LOW recoil no barrel lift off the bipod. I think the slightly heavier barrel helps a bunch. Gotta get some loading done for breakin. So far it cycles rounds and ejects brass.

Going to try and mount open sights soon if it keeps showing promise. Couldn't be happier with Devin's work!

That sounds great. I have never been able to get my short 1.4" 30 Bellm to eject all the time. I have given up and it is a natural sweep and grab reaction now. Enjoy.

Tightened down the headspace and it helps. drybean has some oversized bb's for the ejector to give away in classified. That may help. Also, I looked for a .223 bolt head for several months and finally got Scott at Savage Gunsmithing to true a new one. Had to make a few cuts with the milling machine to fit. But, so far it is spitting out loaded and spent brass. The two cartridges are only a few thousands difference(?).
