    Question stock modification.

My heart is set on a BlackHawk Knoxx Axiom U/L Rifle Stock for my 270 wsm. I shot one on a 700 last weekend and I love it. Well, of course they don’t make them for Savage. So, I am tempted to purchase one and try hard with Devcon, hammer, trimming tool, and pillars to fit one to my savage. I know the screw spacing won’t be close, but I think I can solve this. My question is would a Rem 700 sa or a howa\wthby be easier to modify? – thanks.

The Howa/Vangard is a Rem 700 clone, but don't know enough of the particulars to be of any real spacing help.
Easy way to check, is go to Boyds website, they always list the bolt spacing on their stocks. Do some comparing.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
