If the guy is from Canada and named Bob Fortier, he is sorry to tell you he cannot ship to the states. If it's not him, glad to see someone finally made it.
Hi, Bob. Speaking in 3rd person we are?
By the way, If anyone wants to say hello to Bob, here's how to do it correctly:
What I was actually searching for was a compilation of "Hi, Bob" quotes from the Bob Newhart show, but could not find any such animal.
Oh sorr bob I didnt really read it just say the thread and remembered people going on about stocks and the lack of
I don't have one so I don't pay much mind to them ;-)
I just ordered a stock from: http://www.rifle-stocks.com/tactical.htm , And I have plans to use a modified AR-15 Mag. Catch to use... you guessed it! AR-15 magazines for my .223!
These stocks don't come with the proper floor plate or anything, but I plan on doing the work myself. So I don't plan it being an issue.
AR-15 mags won't work.
"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
Here's a hint: When you get the magazine mounted high enough for the bolt to pick up a round you run into an interference problem between the bolt head and the magazine feed lips. All I have handy is a PMag and a Savage CRF bolt head, but it should still show you well enough why it won't work.
As you can see, the shape and size of the bolt head just doesn't lend itself to being able to pick up a round from an AR magazine.
