    220 slug guns

A question to all of you using the 220. What brand of slugs is giving you the best accuracy?
I would prefer to stay with 2 3/4 for my shoulder and back issues and I only shoot to about 125 yards tops in the woods of Ct..
I sold my Win 1300 deer gun that was dead on at 100 when I thought my hunting days were over but decided this year to H*** with it I'm going hunting regaurdless of the pain in my back and legs.
Looking for a stainless version and need to decide real quick.

Hornady 20 Ga. SST 250 Grain with a listed velocity of 1800 FPS. Good accuracy with mild recoil. I gave up on the 3" Federals as the recoil on the bench was brutal. I had to sight in standing to repeatedly shoot them without developing a flinch. I like to shoot with my eyes open. (Better sight picture too) I tried the 2 3/4 Remington AccuTips but I must have had a bad batch... they were inconsistent and I even found one that had the bullet upside down in the sabot... and I shot it anyway. Johns' law... a flyer can just as easily fly toward the X ring as the 5 ring. It hit almost dead center.

Hunter you know the funny thing about that is in WW1 the snipers on both sides turned there bullets around when they had to shoot at a guy behind a steal plate as it would hit harder and punch a peace of the plate out and into the man behind.

Actually I just took the 220 out today to get it dialed in. Figured I'd get ahead of the game so I don't have to do it end of Nov. when its cold out. Unfortunately my favorite/and the guns favorite load is the 3" Federal with Barnes 5/8oz. Expander (non tipped). I've tried half a dozen other types and these are far and away the best in my gun which is good because I love the bullet. I have yet to get my hands on the 3" Rem Accutips. Thats the only other one I want to try. Having a hard time finding the Federals now, glad I bought 50 rounds last year!
