Well as the title says , last Friday I took it out to the range with a box of the cheapest 308 Russian ammo I could find. 147gr steel cased junk LOL. The reason I did this was to see how it would fair with cheap ammo then shoot it with some of my hand loads and see what it would do.

It was raining off and on very hard and had a wind of about 5-10 mph. I shot the first 2 rounds and barely hit the paper. This was a display model and I figured it would need some tweaking of the scope after the first 10 rounds I had it dialed in pretty good and the last 5 rounds I put under a quarter at 100yds.

I was pretty impressed that the crap ammo did so well and will post results with my 160gr ballistic tip rounds loaded with 45g of Win748. All in all I think its a good rifle for the price and wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying one, I will probably do so myself and buy one in 223 for my son. This rifle however is destined to be re barreled in my 429 Wildcat round.
