Hello everyone, new guy here. My interest in Savage Arms started as a boy, my fathers favorite gun was his 1899 lever action 30-30. I have recently taken an interest in gunsmithing and, as a result, got my hands on a couple of old guns in need of repair. An 1899 in 303 Savage and a .22 Model 65M.

The .22 came to me with a rusty barrel held on to a "barn wood" colored stock with duct tape. After fixing it up I find that it still shoots great,,, dime size groups at 25 yards You can bet that I will be looking for more old Savages to add to my collection.
