I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
im pretty sure my 1-9 barrel wont stablize the 77gns but it shoots the 68gns great so i would think it should shoot the 70 VLDs great to. BUT lol ;-}
My 1-9 stabilizes 75gr just fine,just food for thought.
what kinda vel. are you getting with the 75 gners texan im wanting to stay up over 3000 fps
I am pushing them with 25 gr of Varget, the book says 2900 but i have not confirmed this with a chronograph. Why were you wanting to stay above 3000?
its a hunting load for yotes and it takes less led. i know it dont sound like much and might be in my head but oh well
His rifle is a bone stock FP, his groups with those 77's are amazing.
I know the 9-twist is supposed to be to slow, but once seen three guns that have no issues with them.

i might have to give them a try sents my gun wont shoot lighter bullets for nothing but 62gn 68 gn have been great with the 68 gn laying down many .5 groups
