The bolt head Savage is using for the 7.62x39 may work, but with as loose as the tolerance on some Savage bolt heads is I'd guess you'd have better luck opening a .378 bolt head and modifying the extractor.

Nope - .430 an oddball and I don't know why you would want to set up for it. Mose Weatherby cartridges come close to being the "baddest" for their caliber/action length but the 224 doesn't match the 22-250 or the Swift and you are limited to Weatherby brass (do they still make it?) as far as I know.
Thanks for the input but this information is for a guy who came into my work today and ask me what bolt head to use and I told him I would ask you guys cause I wasnt for sure.
