Weaver vs. Picatinny one piece scope base EGW

Ok, I'm sure this has been ask and answered before.....but my quick 'n dirty search hasn't uncovered it. So....I want to use my Burris Signature Zee rings to mount my Vortex scope. (Actually, the scope is currently mounted, but with "standard" two piece weaver bases.)

I want to change over to a one piece EGW base...and right now EGW is having a sale on some Picatinny "seconds" for a great price. So...my question is (BTW...my action is a single shot short action) will my Weaver rings work on a Picatinny base? Of course....I don't mean "kind of work" I mean when I tighten the screw to 20-in\lbs the Zee rings will look and feel and work just like they would on a Weaver base.

Any help here would be great.
