    scope an glasses

I wear glasses for reading only, anything over 3-4 ft away I can see/read fine.. Now, should I wear them while setting my new scopes focus or not???

And will I need them to use the scope afterwards to see the crosshairs sharp an clear. Been shooting with iron sights for awhile.

    Thanx
    Ron

Personally, I would wear/not wear whatever works. I tried nothing, glasses and contacts. The only one that worked for me was contacts. Obviously with nothing vision was a problem. The problem with glasses was cheek weld and glasses working together. Contacts were the answer for me. Good luck.

I think he meant "cheek" weld to the stock. I would try it both ways. If you can get by without the glasses you will probably be better off, I seem to get a lot of reflection from the glasses, but have learned to live with it.

I wear trifocals and would ask about the same question. Should I use single vision lenses when shooting with a scope?

    Yep, "cheek" not "check".
