Savage / Stevens Crackshot conversion question

Maybe this has been brought up ( I'm new here ) but I'll ask anyway. I have several "crackshots in .22 cal. Is it possible to rechamber them to .22 mag. The action "seems" to be strong enough to do it and I realize the bore is .001 larger on the mag but would any of that be dangerious?

Though no expert on the subject, It's my understanding that the crack shot is not a true falling block action and that they are very weak.

I am not an expert either but have read various fragments of information that the Stevens Favorite line of boys' rifles are not strong enough to withstand the pressure created by modern .22 mag ammo and that it would be inadvisable to try and convert one of them for shooting that caliber.
